bebecatMemberI grew up with Spuds. Love the blue and white paper wrap and pile of napkins on the top. Love the smell. A women walked by me on Calif ave. Sunday, going into an apt. house. She had a couple three bunches of Spuds fish and chips. I could smell them. It made my mouth water. I have never had that kind of reaction to any other fish place…Long live Spuds a West Seattle Icon…..Happy 75th.

AndyParticipantIt’s Spud. Just Spud. No ‘s’ at the end.
Sorry, I have an OCD streak that I can’t seem to shake.

AndyParticipantLove fish and chips. Hate the “Pike’s Market” thing. Hate it when people call it Nordstrom’s instead of Nordstrom.

johnnyblegsMemberSpud is good. Not the best but good. Greasy and good.
.
Which makes me wonder why people are giving other people a hard time for wanting a Dick’s in West Seattle? Same good memories. Same greasy goodies.
