ghar72ParticipantHoping to be able to find an amber teething necklace for my baby without leaving the peninsula. Anyone know a business in WS that sells them? If not in WS, how about in greater Seattle? I know a couple sites online where I can buy one but would rather support local (and have it inthe next couple days for my miserable babe). Thanks for any leads!

ghar72ParticipantThanks for the suggestion Hollyplace. I did try Pharmaca, but no luck. Tried RiteAid in Westwood, no luck. I know Birth and Beyond has them and I’m headed that way tomorrow, so will pick one up. Thought for sure Pharmaca would be a go…oh well.

GinaParticipantI think ghar72 is thinking about one of these:http://www.free-press-release.com/uploads/news/2010/11/10/1289406570_img0.jpg, not the water filled teethers that can be chilled or frozen for gumming.

HelenMomsMemberAmber is amazing way for fighting teething! But, it’s not about beauty. That’s why i recommend to use unpolished amber beads vs polished ones. They don’t look so nice, but believed to work much better. Also be aware about fake amber. My friends bough theirs from http://www.amberforbabies.com/. And they liked it. They saying it’s the same one the use in Baltic countries.
