No, seriously. We’re having a holly tree taken down in our back yard and I’m not sure what to do with the wood. We could keep it as firewood – but we don’t have a fireplace (well there is one, but it’s behind drywall).
Apparently the wood is quite hard and white-ish.
Any aspiring piano key makers out there?

Holly is pretty poor firewood since it burns quickly, and useless for smoking meat or fish.
It is used for white inlay by furniture makers but there are very few of them compared to all the holly trees.
I am burning mine in the wood stove but it was pretty small diameter.
