DanaDMemberDo you LOVE your dentist? Which West Seattle/White Center dentists do you recommend? I need a new dentist. I had a great one, but in Bothel and that’s just too far. Also, I’d love pediatric dentist recommendations. Thanks!

linasenzerroseParticipantyup, love dr. kae. Brought my 2 year old in yesterday and they were great with him. My son was a little hesitant and they were really patient and did not push it. I have been going there for years for my own dental care and have had positive visits every time and the hygienists have been great too.

admiralmomParticipantI had a VERY bad experience with Dr. Christian at West Seattle Dental. She did a crown and I was in horrible pain after. She told me to take some over the counter pain killer. I did and I tried I really did. I waited several hours then called the office, she advised I take more and maybe my nerves were just ticked off from all the on and off of the crown fitting. The pain was so bad I could feel intense throbbing in my eye. I’m tough, I’ve given birth with no pain meds. Kidney stones with no pain meds. I could not take this. Finally after 6 hours of this horrid pain she had me come back in case the crown was not fitting right. She looked at it and said everything was normal and to go home. I asked for something stronger, a prescription pain killer and she refused to write me script because I have a teen ager at home. Yep, she was more worried my teen who she has never met, knows nothing about, stealing my pain killer then me being in the worst pain in my life. She would not budge on this. I actually have no problem with this “personal policy” of hers *if* she had told me before the crown that should I have a complication that left me in this level of pain she would not write me a script due to kids in the house. But she didn’t. This left me in a VERY bad position. Finally after I explained that for my entire teens life I have worked in health care and my partner is on the world wide disaster response team so we ALWAYS have a duffle bag of every narcotic and medication packed and ready to go ALWAYS and nothing has every been missing that she agreed to write me 2 days worth of pain killer.

CarraigMemberJames Dunham, DDS, at West Seattle Dental is the best dentist I have ever gone to. Had a really bad experience with Chrisine Kirschner, so would not recommend her or her staff to anyone.

goodgracesParticipantWe recently transferred care from Dr. Christine Kirchner to Dr. William (Bill) Raleigh, who is across from the post office on California. We are really happy with the switch!
