I am wondering if anyone is using a digital antenna on the west side of our community. I live west of the Alaska Junction and wanted to know if it makes sense to purchase one.

    Hi Brandonman,

I live in North Admiral on California and use a digital antenna from my second floor apartment. For the most part my results are good (I get excellent reception for HD NBC and CBS broadcasts and very good reception for ABC, Fox and CW).

The towers broadcasting the NBC, CBS and ABC stations are all to the east of us. Fox and I think CW are broadcast from the west.

You can enter in your address at

to see where the broadcasts are coming from in relation to your location so you know how to best point the antenna.

I’m using a cheapo indoor amplified digital antenna I got off newegg. Obviously, if you are able to use an outdoor antenna your results will probably be much better.
