Is Twilight Artist Col. still accepting toys for Treehouse Foundation?

Is there anywhere else in the area for Toys for Tots?

Feedback Lounge for Toys for Tots, they are doing a Tots for Toys promo (tater tots if you bring in a toy).

We have some of these listed on the Holidays page.

But better yet, all your local community centers have a toy drive under way. I can’t find the official announcement anywhere but I got a hard-copy flyer (which is not handy now either) when covering a story at Alki CC the other night. Take an unwrapped toy to your nearest comm. ctr. stat.

As for whether they go to “local” kids … many of these drives have to have a central processing point that may be outside WS. But ultimately WS kids benefit too.

P.S. Re: ultralocal – check w/ the WS Helpline to see what they need. Coats, last time I heard.

Thanks TR; yes, I would prefer donations to local WS Helpline which provides help directly to local folks and kids; in addition to coats, they can use shoes and clothes for kids and adults; I will contact Anna to see if they also accept/distribute toys to local kids, or if she knows of any other organization in WS that collects toys for WS kids
