AimParticipantScott: the discussion is still there. I, for one, appreciated your contribution and understand where you’re coming from.
One of the negative aspects of WordPress is that with the “ignore” feature, if you have a person on “ignore” the thread will disappear if they are the most recent poster. If someone else posts after them, the thread will re-appear again. Is it possible that this is what happened?
Wish you’d stick around. Not everyone who is reading is necessarily commenting, but I suspect I’m not the only one who was enjoying hearing your thoughts.

WSBKeymasterI haven’t deleted the race thread. Only thread I deleted tonight (and first one in some weeks) is the one titled $10 Bacon, because it violated WSB policy in veering off into commentary between members about other members. If you still want me to delete your account, I can do that, and everything you ever posted will show as “Anonymous,” but deleting an account does not delete content that person posted.

I even knew about that possibility and complained about it before in a different thread.

WSBKeymasterAnd re: the feature Aim mentions, unfortunately there will be no fix for that until the forum software is available in a stable 1.0 form, ETA unknown – the developers have just released yet another iteration of 1.0 ALPHA, but this site is too busy to take chances with an alpha … we’ll see how things look when they get to beta.
