Retail Sales Associate Lead

The applicant will be able to work daily between the hours of 10 and 6, including weekends, and will be available a minimum of 30 hours per work week.
Must be able to safely lift 45lbs, and be comfortable climbing ladders. You must drive and be able to work at either store location.
Retail sales and/or management experience is preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. A background in consignment, visual merchandising, and buying is a plus.
The following would be some of the essential functions you could expect in your role:

Sales:
• Meet and exceed sales goals and standards of performance.
• Direct and motivate employees to attain personal sales goals weekly.
• Provide an engaging, full-service shopping experience to customers.
• Become a product expert on the full lines.
• Stay informed of current industry and retail trends.
• Develop and execute marketing plans directed at locals.

Staff:
• Train, and maintain a successful sales team.
• Create a training program.
• Evaluate staffing levels to maintain maximum productivity and sales effectiveness.
• Understand the store culture and demonstrate it to the team.

Operations:
• Manage all aspects of store operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop Loss Prevention practices and protect company assets.
• Keep an organized store and stock room.
• Maintain store appearance including merchandising.
