feringMemberWe are looking for an young, aspiring illustrator for a collaborative children’s eBook that we will be publishing.
We have an author (he’s 9) who has written a great short story about a cat and pig who go on a wild adventure together.
We are looking to bring in a school-age illustrator who can complete around eight illustrations to accompany the story.
We will also be including audio narration, videos and other fun extras in our enhanced eBook – all done by young folks.
We are hoping to have the illustrations completed within 3-4 weeks. You will have to read the story, create character illustrations of the main characters and then illustrate certain scenes from the story.
The illustrator will receive a percentage of the royalty payments. Your eBook will be for sale on such retailers as iTunes, Amazon and Barnes and Noble! You’ll get to show your friends and classmates and tell the world that you are a published illustrator. And you’ll get some extra spending money from the royalties.
If you are interested (or know someone who’d be perfect for this), please send a sample or two of your drawings, sketches, watercolors, etc to jen@wiredballywho.com. If you are the parent/guardian, please include a little information about your child. If you are the illustrator, tell us a little about yourself and please understand that we will have to get permission from your parent(s) if we were to proceed with you.
We are happy to offer this amazing opportunity to a talented artist, and we truly hope this project will be crazy successful and launch your art career!

Myr-myrParticipantI have forwarded your post to the mom of the very talented 10 year-old boy to whom I give weekly art lessons. At the moment he’s consumed with designing Google doodles and Skylanders Giants, but I hope you all will connect with each other.
