AnonymousInactiveThis might be a repeat, but has everyone seen the pastor protect her from witchcraft video? With laying on of hands included.

IrukandjiParticipantSounds a little like Marge Gunderson, but Margie had BRAINS!

In2theknightMemberI just watched all the video clips of the interviews posted above…and I can’t seem to do anything but shake my head in disbelief. Fans of lipsticked hockey mom-pitbulls (wasn’t that one of the characters in The Island of Dr. Moreau), please speak up and help me understand – truly understand how she is exactly what this country needs for the next 4 to 8 years.

Thank you Fareed Zakaria…
“Will someone please put Sarah Palin out of her agony? Is it too much to ask that she come to realize that she wants, in that wonderful phrase in American politics, “to spend more time with her family”? “
“Obviously these are very serious challenges and constraints. In these times, for John McCain to have chosen this person to be his running mate is fundamentally irresponsible. McCain says that he always puts country first. In this important case, it is simply not true.”

JanSParticipanthere’s another video. I like how he shuts Wolf Blitzer up at the end..”Don’t make excuses for her”.. And that’s exactly what everyone is doing, making excuses, oh, just give her a little time, she’ll learn it. Well, no, dammit…she should know this going into it, or she should have declined the invitation.

acemotelParticipantIs it true that the debate negotiations included the agreement that Palin would get copies of the debate questions beforehand?
September 29, 2008 at 7:00 pm #640467
AnonymousInactivePersonally, that wouldn’t bother me. Having the questions beforehand. It will make it that much more obvious if she has rehearsed McCain talking points, or natural answers coming from her own opinions.
As for hiding her from the media, wouldn’t that be McCain’s doing not hers? She seems very managed to me and I would be inclined to bash that over her personally.
September 29, 2008 at 10:12 pm #640468
JanSParticipantJT. I’m becoming more and more embarrassed FOR her. She’s been put into a position that’s not exactly fair. She’s a bit in over her head, and now they’re micro-managing the hell out of her. Yes, I blame McCain, or whoever made the decision to put her in this position. Can you imagine her personal alone moments? Questioning herself about what she’s gotten herself into? When questioned about some things she gets the “Oh, f**k” look on her face, and I feel sorry for her.
But then I remember that the McCain people asked her a yes or no question – the one about being the VP candidate – and she COULD have said no, that she wasn’t ready for that. So…85% blame to the McCain folk, 15% to her.

In2theknightMemberWSMom, thanks for posting that Youtube link. After I watched that, I was curious to see the video clips saying that she couldn’t even name any newspapares or mag’s that she’s read! Oh how I wish I wasn’t working tonight so I could see the VP debate.

“About These Interviews
This site is a parody. The answers are computer generated based on probabilities calculated from Sarah Palin’s actual speech. We think it is hilarious.
The Markov chain generated answers are surprisingly close to her actual answers. Don’t believe me? See below.
Actual Palin Interview Response
COURIC:Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? Allow them to spend more and put more money into the economy? Instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?
PALIN: That’s why I say, I like ever American I’m speaking with were ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the tax payers looking to bailout.
But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy – Helping the – Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. Shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americas. And trade we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive scary thing. But 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.”
