E-mailed to us from Alki – asked us to post it:

A poem for the morning by three 12 year olds, Carmen, Careena and Meg

From Lil’ Alki Frosty, the now-headless snowman.

To the boy who took my head:

No long my head and sholders meet,

now all there is is my subtle heart beat

I thought you were going to do something meaningful wiht me

like put me in the freezer

or save me for a sunny week

now I can’t think at the least

because all you did was stuff me in that great big beast

Now I am sitting here all alone

    unable to think

    unable to moan

    Maybe its tempting

    Maybe its fun

    but in truth our heads

    are worth a ton

I am so sad but can not weap

all I wanted was the Christmas joy to keep

please do not come back for my feet.

that is great!! Love it. Sorry Lil’ Frosty had his head stolen. He will be remembered fondly. Maybe there is a donor nearby?

I once came across a poem about strawberry jam that was really good, but I lost it.
