bsmommaParticipantI have a ring I’d like to sell. Besides a pawn shop, where would I go? West Seattle Coins?

WSBKeymasterThey are a new WSB sponsor (sponsoring the Traffic and Pets pages) and according to their site, they evaluate “fine jewelry” in addition to a variety of other things.

pattileaParticipantI had good luck at West Seattle coins, selling misc gold and gems. Please be carful selling jewelry on Craig’s list. Use common sense, do not let people come to your home, Sell in a busy area, like Starbucks ect…A few years back someone was murdered over a ring thru a Craig’s list ad!

SueParticipantI recommend doing your research and deciding what you’re willing to take for a ring before trying to sell it. I had a vintage ring I wanted to sell, and Wyatt’s didn’t buy that type of ring, but had a third party take a look and make an offer on it, but it was way lower than I was willing to accept on it. Not saying anyone was trying to cheat me, but just that it’s helpful to be prepared and not make decisions on the fly, especially if there’s no desperation/rush to sell.

lovethempapsParticipantGilbert at Western Jewelry & Coin Exchange on Alaska is very knowledgeable about jewelry and he is honest and fair as well. He will tell you what your ring is worth, and he buys fine jewelry as well.
