Hi, West Seattle, I’m looking for musicians for a Christmas program for a little church in the Highland Park area.
It’s a Nazarene denomination; it’s a quite open and welcoming church but anyone interested would probably want to know exactly what they’re getting into. I’m presuming anyone interested would be comfortable with a church of this sort. It’s small, but very warm and friendly, with great spiritual direction by the leadership. They just don’t have a group of folks who can play or sing to put anything together.
My wife is an experienced worship leader, and we have a pretty good technical staff & capability. We’re looking for singers and basic contemporary musicians: drums, bass, keyboard, guitar. Orchestral instruments and the like may very well be able to be incorporated in, but we’ll have to see.
I’d expect about 8 to 10 gettogethers & practices for a Sunday service Christmas program, almost certainly 12/22.
