wakefloodParticipantRIP, Leonard. You entertained us.
I hope they use the sleek, black coffin from the movie, even if he’s cremated. Fitting in some way.
They shot Scotty’s ashes into space, didn’t they?

anonymeParticipantI really liked Nimoy in his role as the psychiatrist in “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. The best version, IMHO, released in 1978. Another great icon for us baby boomers – gone. Sad.

pelicansParticipantI met him once over thirty years ago in a work capacity. He was directing William Shatner in an episode of TJ Hooker. Truly a gracious and warm professional to a young starstruck Coastie.

JayDeeParticipantThe sleek black coffin I think was a “photon Torpedo” casing. But I could be wrong.

miwsParticipantWow….thanks for posting that, Jan.
I hadn’t read/heard/or even thought of Desiderata for years.
I had a smaller sized poster, that I bought sometime during my high school years in the ’70’s of it. Had it for many years.
Hearing all these years later, and being reminded of the content, it seems to be even more impactful with the passing of time, and life events.
Now I’m gonna have to locate me another poster of it. :-)
Mike
