Betty TMemberMy oldest daughter had a mad crush on Davie, named her hamster after him. As a mom, I always liked them. Hard to imagine him as an older grey-haired man. My kids(4) are gettimg there too.

CaitParticipantI often cringe at the memory of my decades-late teenage obsession with The Monkees when they experienced a sort of resurgence in the late 90’s when Nick at Nite aired their re-runs. My mom sewed their logo on my jeans when I was in 6th grade and I thought I was so awesome… if only we weren’t nearing the year 2000. But! I did get to see them at the Puyallup Fair (minus Nesmith) when I was around that age. Davy was unarguably my favorite. Enjoying all the Facebook posts on my feed today with tributes and videos of him.

MagpieParticipantI remember CCD class at Guadalupe was on Monday night and since it interfered with my Monkee watching, I just skipped it. I, sad but true, went to concerts in 1967 and 68, and 70. Selling the concert books on ebay helped pay for tuition for my kids. I was glad I saved them. I may still have a few Tiger Beats hanging around…
