hammerheadParticipantBe very careful about people calling themselves animal behaviorlist. they need a PHD, Dr Ha who was on komo 4 dissing ceasor milan, is with companion animal solutions is were he works, with Christine(I forget her name) is an animal behaviorlist. even dog trainers cant’ call themselves and animal behaviorlist with out a phd. they are expensive. they come to your house and work with you and the dog. i was doing alot of research it is SO confusing out there. good luck

JoBParticipanthopey,
i think i talked with them last year and yuki was far more dog aggressive than they were willing to handle.. but he has made progress since then.
maybe i should call and go talk with them again.

powerMemberWe got a black lab thinking how friendly labs are… well ours was not. She was fearful and aggressive. We worked with Jeff Tinsley noted multiple times and he had great suggestions! They suggestions really helped us during our first years with her. He did a 1:1 in our house to give us some feedback. He was our doggie therapist – and here I thought I’d be the first in the family to visit the therapist!
Our dog would growl at visitors – not just once but during their whole visit – even for days. She nipped at kids and did not like them. She has become a content friendly dog and has two boys jumping on her now. I really credit Jeff for his suggestions to assist in socializing her. We can now have company over and not worry about her growling for days at them!
