I thought I had seen someone post that there is an Easter egg hunt at Lincoln Park. Is that not true?

We have the definitive West Seattle list on our Events page, as mentioned on our home page this morning. We work very hard to keep the Events page updated with everything we can possibly find out about what’s going on in WS at all times (currently it lists events all the way through October).

And to the specific question, yes, there is an egg hunt on Saturday at Lincoln Park, sponsored by a church, as well as one at a grocery store and the ones at every WS community center. Can’t vouch for any other sites. Note the Saturday hunts, which have their own section on this page

then the Sunday hunts that churches are offering (click through the Events page to the West Seattle Easter Sunday Services page, or directly here:

I hate to beat our own drum too much but I guess I have to. Citywide lists like citywide papers or whatever this Red Tricycle is, are not going to have everything specific at a neighborhood level. That’s where we come in (or our counterparts in other neighborhoods). And if there’s info you CAN’T find here at WSB that you’re interested in – PLEASE e-mail us at any time and if we don’t have it, we’ll find it:

One additional egg hunt on Saturday just hit our radar:

Grace Church, at the church, 11 am Saturday

Does anyone know if any of these are appropriate for a 10-month old? I see that some of them are broken into age groups, but how young do they go? Our little girl would probably be happy to just go and watch a bunch of older kids do this, but wanted to see if there was anywhere she could participate (without getting trampled).

bigmark – I would assume that 10 months would be a perfect age at any of the hunts around, especially because they are broken up by age group.

I’m curious about the hunt at Lincoln Park being sponsored by a church. Do you have to be a member of that church to participate?
