Looking for your recommendations for a primary care Doctor. Would like to know especially why you like them. Tired of going to urgent care when I need to have something looked at that Naturopath would not handle.

I received a couple of suggestions from this post a few months ago: https://westseattleblog.com/forums-2/topic/looking-for-physician-recommendations-for-adult-male/
Unfortunately haven’t been able to convince the husband to make an appointment to see anyone yet :(

clark…I can’t recommend if you want to see someone in West Seattle. My PCP is a female doc at the Polyclinic(7th and Madison) named Betsy Brown. She has been my doc a good portion of the time since 2004. I had no insurance back then…she found a way to have my right hip replaced, and while I was recovering , she got me a free mammogram , where, sadly, they discovered I had breast cancer. She went to Santa Fe for a bit, but missed Seattle and came back, so I’m seeing her again. She also teaches at the U. I can’t say enough good things about her. I feel like she saved my life by getting me a free mammogram. Good luck on your search :)

All the docs at Polyclinic downtown (6th and Stewart) are fabulous!!!! IMHO Everyone loves Alice Krehbiel (a West Seattleite herself).
