JoBParticipantmy washing machine quit..
so i called the Whirlpool service center on Monday morning and they told me that i needed to do a series of diagnostic tests before they could adequately assess my service.
i did.. but when you have to unplug the machine and wait for half an hour before you replug it in to push the right buttons in sequence to unlock the door so you can bail the tub out to do the next step that can take a while.
i called them again at about 2PM.. and the person i got this time told me they were sorry that they couldn’t get a repairman here until mid month …Dec. Sears could do better.. they could be here the first week of December.
I called Wiseman Appliance Repair in a panic.
The service guy called me back almost immediately and talked me through all of the things i had done to diagnose the problem.
Then he told me he wouldn’t be able to come out till tuesday but that even then he was limited in what he could do without ordering parts..
he explained to me how to do the only thing he would be able to do for me on Monday without ordering parts …
this morning i followed his instructions
and fixed my washing machine.
you can bet that next time i will call Wiseman first…
any place that gives you this kind of over the phone service has to want your business.
