suzanneParticipantThe staff are always friendly and helpful. I’ve always appreciated that they will install wiper blades for you, but I was even more surprised today when they installed my new lamp in my headlight. What a nice touch, not to mention that I didn’t have to figure out how on earth to do it myself.

tom kelleyParticipantI’d second that!

clark5080ParticipantI totally agree way different than going to a Shucks or whatever it is called now

Garden_nymphMemberThey are wonderful! They have changed my wiper blades, the bulbs in my headlights and anytime I need a part, they know exactly what I need, or look it up for me. They are my “go to” auto parts store. I never feel they are tricking me into buying something I don’t actually need; I completely trust them.

The Velvet BulldogParticipantRoxbury Auto Parts was featured in WSB’s “Shop Cat” series a while back:

I notice the people got a few raves then, too!

BonnieParticipantWe love them too! They are always so helpful and will always go the extra mile. I don’t know why anybody would go anywhere else.

KevinParticipantRoxbury Auto Parts is a real good example of what a “real” auto parts store should look like. It reminds me of auto parts stores that I sometimes frequented in my high school days.
.
Their whole staff is fantastic. Ron is my favorite! Always more than willing to put on a new set of wiper blades even in the rain!
.
One of the BEST products Ron ever recommended to me is a product called “No Touch Rain Shield” which comes in a green can. This is a super slick substance that really helps improve your visibility in the rain. At highway speeds you can actually drive with your windshield wipers turned off, and still be able to see just fine.
.
With a fresh application the rain drops appear to run uphill as the wind blows the drops off the glass. When you do need to use your wipers, it allows you to run your wipers on a very slow speed. And unlike the competitors products like RainX which need to be applied when the glass is dry, the “No Touch Rain Shield” is designed to be applied when it is raining!
.
Oh yes, and no visit to Roxbury is complete without visiting with the shop cat who has a comfy cat bed right there at one end of the parts counter.

Garden_nymphMemberThey also introduced me to (and got me hooked on) the NO Touch Rain Shield; I swear by it! In a downpour it is nice not to have to drive with my wipers on “hyper-speed”. The rain gets blown up and over my windshield like my car was getting dried at a car wash. In a time when it seems like “customer disservice” is the norm, I am delighted to find a company that really goes out of its way for their patrons!

boon_patrickMemberWhy depend on someone else to do your job when you can do it yourself? No doubt there are service points which install stuff for you (some don’t charge too!) but when you do it yourself, it becomes very enjoyable and indulging too.
Take a look at http://www.automotix.net/autorepair/diy/ for a comprehensive list of DIY’s on various makes of automobiles and free yourself by getting things done by your own. Happy tinkering!

hammerheadParticipantI don’t want to break or get my nails dirty. LOL
I love them and they actually know what they are talking about.

happywalkerParticipantI haven’t frequented Roxbury Auto Parts, but will next time I need some auto thingy. Boon_Patrick…why so it yourself if someone who knows what they are doing do it for you, at no extra charge I presume. I can enjoy and indulge myself in many other ways than changeing my wipers etc. Different strokes for different folks.

kazzmereMemberI’m an automotive idiot, and I love Roxbury Auto. They take care of me every time, from replacing my blades to recommending mechanics. I think they are just delightful. And I love their cat that sleeps on the front counter =^..^=

NitroParticipantI LOVE Roxbury Auto! Will always visit them first, before ever going to a large national chain retail auto parts store. Support a wonderful local business that always gives great customer service!!

JiggersMemberHey Nitro, I’ve heard you belt some good songs out at Talarico’s karaoke night. Good singing dude.

StargaterMemberThere are AWESOME. Went in to get a bulb for my tail light and told them the kind of car and they walked to the shelf and got the right bulb! They are always friendly.
BONUS – They support the community and have been a sponsor of the West Seattle Car Show EVERY year!
They have my business!!!!!!
