Garden_nymphMemberI would like to RAVE about the Ube ice cream I was lucky enough to finally try. After dropping off two bags of shoes for the Soles4Souls drive that BobL started, I decided to treat myself with some ice cream. Yum, YUM, (did I say YUM!!!) It was similar to cake batter ice cream (sold at another ice cream establishment) but was more delicate and not overly sweet. It was a bit like angel food cake ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

IrukandjiParticipantWow. Justin just knows how to keep us coming back. Definately rave-worthy.
January 25, 2009 at 1:42 am #655991
FullTiltParticipantWe replace the sugar with crack. Keeps em coming back:)
January 25, 2009 at 2:06 am #655992
GenHillOneParticipantLOL, funny FullTilt – thanks Garden_nymph…while Ube was on my list to try, I would never have thought it could be similar to angel food cake. As you say, YUM! I am moving it up the list to try sooner rather than later :)
January 25, 2009 at 2:32 am #655993
JoBParticipantand to think i managed to pass today without stopping…
i guess i will be picking up my casserole dish sooner rather than later so i have an excuse to try the ube ice cream:)
January 25, 2009 at 5:31 pm #655994
FullTiltParticipantI also just made a black licorice. That probably won’t last through today.
January 25, 2009 at 9:23 pm #655995
JenVMemberdude! you made black licorice! I am on my mother effing way!
January 25, 2009 at 9:32 pm #655996
What TheMemberJaegermeister flavor?
January 26, 2009 at 4:36 am #655997
FullTiltParticipantI joked with Ann today about making a nyquil flavor.
January 26, 2009 at 4:42 am #655998
flowerpetalMemberPlease no rants folks. Fulltilt, do you make any dairy free ice cream? It would not be for me, but my par amour is dairy free out of necessity.
January 26, 2009 at 4:43 am #655999
flowerpetalMemberI know, dairy free – ice cream = oxymoron!
January 26, 2009 at 4:55 am #656000
pigeonmomParticipantAren’t the vegan selections dairy free? I will chime in for a sugar free option.

JoBParticipanti had the dairy free option (coconut milk) time before last and it was so good that i was almost ready to give up Mexican chocolate.. my personal favorite of the Full Tilt ice creams :)
January 26, 2009 at 8:44 am #656003
FullTiltParticipantYeah we normally have a few dairy free options, all made with coconut milk
January 26, 2009 at 8:58 am #656004
pigeonmomParticipant*peep* cardamom? :-D
January 26, 2009 at 5:43 pm #656005
FullTiltParticipantyes we have cardamom.
February 2, 2009 at 2:59 am #656006
angelescrestParticipantI’m hooked on the sweet tea paleta, but Chloe’s awaiting the promised paleta de mango.
Full Tilt “completed” my son’s trip home from college–several times!
February 2, 2009 at 3:05 am #656007
FullTiltParticipantThe are coming next week. Mango chili, and a Mango Fresca. (just juice).
February 2, 2009 at 3:07 am #656008
angelescrestParticipantGracias–cool; we’ll be there.
February 2, 2009 at 4:17 am #656009
IrukandjiParticipantTried the cardamom rose – it’s exquisite… and my kid didn’t mind finishing his Mexican Chocolate even though he’d dropped it on the floor. 20-second rule, he put it right back in the bowl!

mom2sorenMemberDear Full Tilt —
I have been dreaming of a chunky, slightly minty dark chocolate ice cream — kind of like Girl Scout cookies, but not too minty. And chunks of dark chocolate bits, nuts, and maybe cookies or marshmallows mixed in? And the ice cream would have to be a rich, dark chocolate. Does this ice cream exist?
February 2, 2009 at 7:17 am #656011
FullTiltParticipantEverything exists for a price ;) just sent pm.
February 12, 2009 at 5:45 pm #656012
mom2sorenMemberI need to rave about this place, too. I’ve been searching for a good ice cream shop experience in Seattle for years. I listened to a few posts on the WSB, and wholeheartedly agree that they have THE BEST ICE CREAM in this entire city. It’s the real deal. Hard ice cream, creative flavors, rich chocolates, and just the right amount of sugar. It rivals Ben & Jerry.
If you haven’t tried it yet, give this guy your business! We need to support the little guys during these difficult economic times, and I don’t want to lose such a cool ice cream parlor. West Seattle is lucky to have him!!
February 12, 2009 at 8:13 pm #656013
JoBParticipantthe first time you go into Full Tilt ice cream, you go because you have heard a lot about it or you just want to support local small businesses…
after that, it’s all about the ice cream … and the people who run the shop… and the friends you meet there… and the conversation…and the pinball machines.. and the kid friendly atmosphere… and the local art on the walls… and the local bands on the weekends.. and…
i should warn you.. Full Tilt ice cream is addictive:)
