RainyDay1235MemberI admit, the ‘oyster bar’ sign kept me away. But went for brunch today at 11:30. The place was nearly empty (uh oh, not a good sign) but food and service was FABULOUS.
Great french press coffee, challah french toast with raspberries, and a fabulous artichoke/spinach eggs benedict with diced potatoes. Finally – an affordable great breakfast alternative (I still love you Luna Park!)

jMemberThanks Rainy! We are going to go try it out next weekend. I must admit, I went and looked at their menu because I am also turned off by the fact they are an Oyster Bar. The Blue Ribbon Breakfast looks great!

villagegreenMemberIt’s a shame the ‘oyster bar’ in their name seems to keep so many people away (note ‘Grill’ also appears in their name). This place should be packed every night. Unlike so many other new places in WS, their menu is moderately priced and the food is fantastic. Can’t wait to try their breakfast – the menu looks amazing and very well priced. Bloody Caesar here I come!

SueParticipantI just went here today. I was looking for a place in the Junction to eat lunch and didn’t want to eat at one of the same 3 places I always go. I remembered the rave reviews on brunch and went there.
It was empty at 12:30 when I arrived. The staff was so friendly and the food was really quick and good. I had the Flat Iron Sliders with salad which was excellent. I would definitely go back.
I also avoided the place since I don’t like oysters – so I was surprised to see how many things on their menu *don’t* have oysters! The prices are reasonable and it was so beautifully presented. I think I’ll be taking my husband there next weekend!
Here are their menus if anyone is interested in checking it out. I see at least half a dozen things I need to go back for. :)

JenVMemberRainyDay1235: I have been obsessing over that spinach/artichoke benedict…glad to hear it’s as good as I have been imagining!

beachdrivegirlParticipantAma Ama bruch is the best! i have already gone two different Sundays. I have had/tried the strata, the market fresh omelet, and the crab benedict. They have all been fantastic! Also, for those bloody mary fans outthere, they have a great sounding menu and it looks like they poor generously …

MissKMemberWOW!! Thanks for posting this. I love a great breakfast, but never thought an Oyster Bar would be that place. Perhaps, they need to advertise a bit more to lure in the non oyster loving peeps!

charlabobParticipantThey definitely need to let people know that their menu goes beyond oysters. Went there today and were in foodie heaven. A Bacon Bloody Mary was among the specials — bacon crumbled into the salt and a strip of bacon where you sometimes see celery or spicey green beans.
I had challah French Toast — one of my tests for a good brunch — and it was perfectly done!

acemotelParticipantthey were out of challah french toast when we were there about 1:30, but the baguette french toast was lovely. One in our party had huevos rancheros – divine, with interesting presentation and unique mix of textures and tastes. My ham and cheese omelette was just ordinary; not great but not bad either. The bill for three of us was about $25. We’ll be back.

missaudreyhorneParticipantOH MY GOD Charla! A bacon bloody mary? That sounds like basically my idea of what heaven is like. I’m jealous.

KeithMemberThat Bacon Bloody Mary is one of those wonderful instances where the execution is as good as the concept. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
