maltmonkeyParticipantBetween 11 AM and 1 PM on Saturday, October 20 someone smashed the passenger window out of our red VW Tiguan and grabbed a black Kipling backpack with smartphone and Nikon digital camera while the car was parked in the free lot behind Jak’s. If anyone saw anything or finds the discarded backpack, it would be nice to know. Pretty much ruined our day.

If you haven’t reported it to the Police already, you can do so online here:
You’ll need to create an account with the City of Seattle website, before the form will display.
Also, you might want to notify the WSB Editor directly, as they don’t have the time to monitor the Forums as much as they’d like:
WSB can include any details you might want to share, in their regular Crime Watch Report.
Finally, does your Smartphone have the remote locator and/or locking feature?

maltmonkeyParticipantThanks, called the police right away, sent a picture to the WSB editor, and reported the phone as stolen so it cannot be used or reactivated. The car is full of glass, pretty angry day.

miwsParticipantYeah, I don’t blame you for being angry.
Just be careful cleaning up that glass. Even safety glass can produce some nasty tiny shards.
