katmanParticipantSouthwest Plumbing is the one to call IF you want your house torn up and left that way. Southwest plumbing cut a 18″X18″ hole in a bedroom wall to access the plumbing to replace a toilet. After the toilet was installed they left,, LEAVING a 18″X18″ hole in the bedroom wall.
Calls to management were ignored. Manager said he would be out to look at it and did not show up.
Called next day manager said he would be out today because of a problem yesterday,,, NOSHOW both days,, Complaint forwarded to State Attorney General. Calling Southwest plumbing is a big mistake for any homeowner. Documentation and pictures are available.

pattileaParticipantOMGoodness, you got me started. I see RED when I see their trucks. I have even stopped my car and told the home owners my stories about them. When I was a young homeowner I called them to come clean out my side sewer. They told me it was cracked and needed to be fixed immediately. They said $18,000. I freaked. I said it was just replaced as part of the work order for buying my house. They said well the company that did it did shoddy work and needed to be replaced again. they went on and on about how bad it was. LOL they had done the original work!!!! Needless to say I had another company replace it at SW Plumbing expense. They have also done poor work in our neighborhood. So during our neighborhood meetings we all shared bad work or over priced stories about them. PLEASE people call anyone else!!! If some lady knocks at your door to share about them it’s all true, and you should send them away FAST!

birdrescuerParticipantI would never use them, Fox, Beacon or any of the big ones again. In my experience they lie and cheat. O’Neil is good but very expensive. There are very good, small companies that are respectful and responsible. Check here on the blog for referrals.

4th of EightParticipantO’Neil and Joe The Plumber ARE the ONES TO CALL!!!!! I keep saying this.. I can’t believe Southwest are still in business. Everyone has been screwed over by them or knows of someone who has, and when you complain, the owners play ‘dumb’. AG needs to shut-them-DOWN!!

Michael WaldoParticipantWe called one of those small, affordable plumbers. Late showing up, excuses. We called O’Neils and there bid was actually $50 less. They showed up on time and the guy really worked hard to get it done in the bid time frame. He literately had seat poring off him. When I made a joke about the sweat, he said “I know how much we charge an hour, so I do my best to keep the hours down”.I highly recommend them.

IrukandjiParticipantWe’ve had bad experiences with both Fox and SW, and now only go through O’Neill or our GC. SW works on commission, and Fox won’t necessarily send a licensed plumber to do the work (workers are only required to report to a licensed plumber).

wakefloodParticipantAll one needs to do with regards to South West is to ask yourself, how do they pay for the THOUSANDS of billboards and bus signs and commercials they plaster all over this region?
They have more media presence than Boeing, Microsoft and Starbucks combined.
They “fix” toilets fer chrissakes!
