HomerParticipantHave given them SO many chances but this last one was the final straw. Yet again, ordered a pizza (all different days and times) and this one, yet again, had almost zero of my toppings! Not only that but my online order I placed cam back wrongly prepared!
I called the manager that very night and he did apologize and after I asked, he said there was a standard of how much of each topping they should use and he’ll bring it up at their next staff meeting. Then he said he’d send me a coupon in the mail for a free pizza. NEVER HAPPENED.
Just seems like this should be better by now. Just give a decent amount of toppings and maybe he got busy and forgot but please, please work on the full customer relationship from start to finish.
Guess it’s off to Papa Murphy’s and the occasional awesome Pagliacci’s!

JanSParticipantI realize that the pizza’s at this establishment are probably cheaper than some…but …well, just but…I don’t order from there ever. :( Try Luciano’s or Olympic Pizza and Pasta on Delridge. . Even Amante has better pizza than Papa John’s. If you like chain pizza…Pizza Hut, Domino’s..they all deliver…
and for pick up and bake yourself, try Raw at 35th and Fauntleroy , in that little strip mall thingy there…

trickycooljParticipantI love Zeeks. Haven’t ever had problems with deliveries there. I’ve ordered Papa John’s twice since moving over here but after having had it at every event in college (UW housing had some contract for events) I can’t really stand it anymore. If you’re going for chain/bargain pizza I recall Pizza Hut used to open the box and ask “is this what you ordered? Do you accept?” And if not, they’ll bring another pizza. I remember ordering pep and olives and it had pep and mushrooms which everyone I was with didn’t like mushrooms. We got to keep that one anyway and they remade a pep and olives for us. That was probably 10 years ago but worth checking if any of the chains have a quality guarantee. Or just get Zeeks. I was at the Greenlake Zeeks last night, did you know they have fresh baked cookie sundaes??

dhgParticipantI believe you get what you pay for. I really love Pagliacci pizza but Zaw is a strong contender.
Papa Johns was sued by Dominos for using the tag line “Better ingredients, better pizza”. PJ lawyers argued that that line was just hubris. I believe them.

miwsParticipantI agree with tricky in regards to Zeeks.
I treat myself to a delivered pizza every few months, and Zeeks has not disappointed in food quality, or quality of service.
I order online, and it’s very intuitive, and simple. They even have the option of ordering much earlier in the day, and even days before, I believe.
You can request the delivery time, I think, within at least 15 minute increments, and maybe even 5 or 10 minute increments.
If I have received a late pizza in the last year and a half, it’s been no more than 5 minutes. I’ve even received it a bit early a couple or so times, but again, likely no more than 5 minutes. I always allow a bit of a time cushion, anyway, since stuff sometimes happens, but that’s why ovens have a “Warm” setting. ;-)
They even deliver clean up to my South Delridge/Highland Park Home!
I’m on a major arterial, with a very obvious “Landmark” across the street, but even so, I feel directing Pizza Drivers and first time visitors can be……ummmmm…..tricky. ;-)
So, I try to be very, maybe overly descriptive in the instructions on how to find my particular apartment number.
Last time, I believe, I realized that I’d forgotten to be as descriptive as usual, and apologized to the Driver when he got here. He said it wasn’t too much of a problem, because his GPS helped out.
I pulled the ”I’m an Old Fart, and in MY day…..” bit on him, of how long before GPS was common, or even existed, my GPS was “Up here”, *Tapping head* ;-) back in my pizza delivery days 19 years ago, for a couple months, or in a non-pizza delivery job, in the early ‘80’s.
So, yeah, never been disappointed with Zeeks, (Kitchen Sink!) in either quality of food, or service!

NannyBrandyMemberI’m sorry to hear about your experience, maybe the manager has the name of the owner, I believe it’s a franchise… Maybe they don’t know how poorly it’s being run?
We LOVE Slices down on Alki. You can call and order ahead and run down and pick it up. You can’t beat Darryl’s pizza! :)

maplesyrupParticipantAfter all of the commentary from Papa Johns’ owner about Obamacare I would’t order from them even if I liked their pizza (which I don’t- the only good thing about it is that it’s cheap).
There are loads of options for pizza in West Seattle. Give your money to companies that deserve it.
