BlendParticipantAllStar Fitness has so many customers..you would think they can afford to fix the friggin’ sauna and steam room. The steam room has been down for over a month..and today the sauna was luke warm.
The hot tub is also broken. And they are always low on towels.
I just have to vent..cause I know complaining to them does no good. Plus I don’t want to disturb the lifeguard while she is texting.
But I did overhear two naked ladies in the locker room saying they just changed owners..So let’s hope the new people will do something about these issues.

BonnieParticipantI don’t go the All Star, but maybe they are waiting on a part that is on order? That’s the only thing I can think of.

Admiral935Participanthahaha, that’s why I left after 4 years ending in 2001. Thought about going back since but the memories of mildew in the mens room and green stuff growing on the shower wallscurtains for month’s and month’s on end. The generally foul air on all floors (do you seriously think they change air filters?)…the never fixed obvious things list was lengthening back then. Too bad for the community. Ofcourse, YMMV.

WSBKeymasterACC – I know you’re relatively new in the Forums and we value your participation. But:
Our rule is that you DO need to report a problem to ownership/management before “venting” about a business here. Even if you are “sure” they know, businesses have the right to hear about problems from customers before they hear about them with the world told online.
If you really haven’t done that, either please do so and update this thread, or it will be deleted.
Side note on the ownership thing – we have received a few reports in the past couple weeks regarding rumors to that effect. I talked to an Allstar manager at one point and he refused to confirm it or deny it. One rumor claimed June 1st was the date something was supposed to happen, but I haven’t seen any evidence so far that anything has – if anyone has, please let us know, because that would of course be a story.

yeah-meParticipantI wish they would stop charging $15 for membership cards .. the way they act about them you would think they used gold ink to print them. Costco hands them out like candy..and theirs even have your photo on them.

fitguyMemberAll Star Fitness blows. I’ll never use that gym again. They are almost as bad as 24 Hour Fitness. The owner (I won’t say his name)lives on Alki and drives fancy $$$$ cars yet doesn’t even provide health benefits for his employees or spend the money to clean the gym properly. Check out the state attorney general’s website for all the complaints about this crappy company (I’ve had to camplain to their management several times about dues with no satisfaction before finally cancelling). The best way to get in shape at All Star is to run away from it.

BlendParticipantops…shame on me. I always read the directions after I put stuff together..oh well..I saw a rant section and went for it. But yes..it’s true..I should go to the owner first. So Sorry.
