Lucky Pawz Pet Care is seeking a pet sitter for overnight stays in the West Seattle and greater Seattle area. Assignments are on an as-needed basis and a regular income is not guaranteed.

This is a great position for anyone retired, has a day job or is a student that just wants to earn a little extra money on the side and loves to spend time with animals.

Do not consider this a temporary position — our sitters have been with us for years and are employees, not independent contractors. We have wonderful clients that consider their pets a part of the family and the person that cares for them is very important.

This is a fun job for people who like to get away and enjoy a change of scenery every once in a while. At the same time, it is not always a “cruise,” as some pets need special care and can be a challenge. Many assignments include dog walking so a candidate should be reasonably healthy.

If your free time and schedule is dictated by someone else this is not the job for you. We are looking for someone who truly loves animals and can deal with people in a business-like manner, as you will be meeting clients and assessing their needs while you represent Lucky Pawz. A pet sitter needs to have the stability and maturity to deal with situations that may arise as a result of being in the company of animals. Those that panic easily do not do well in this field. We need someone with a cool head and a warm heart.

If you would like to join Lucky Pawz please send an email to Susan at info@luckypawzpetcare.com. Please include your name, where you live, your experience with pets and the reasons why you think this would be a good position for you.

    Thank you.
