    Hello!

We are looking to hire a part time assistant nanny 15-20 hours a week in the afternoons from Tuesday to Friday. We are looking for an assistant for our head teacher with care for four toddlers. Primary responsibilities will include reading, singing, dancing, cuddling, painting, coloring and playing. May also include occasional cleaning and organizing.

Ideal candidates will be excited about spending time interacting with four awesome toddlers (15 months to 24 months). Our head teacher for our licensed childcare will ensure that our assistant is well trained and will be available at all times for supervision. Must be a minimum of 14 years of age. Must be able to lift toddlers into the air (approx 25 lbs.), crawl on the floor, laugh deep belly laughs, and pass a background check and a check for tuberculous. Also, our assistant will need to take an infant CPR and first aid class.

Our at-home childcare is a relaxed environment that helps children grow and learn. Our head teacher has a college degree in social work and child development and over 8 years in the field of child development and care. She has created an intentional curriculum for our children and is knowledgeable about different childcare theories and parenting methods. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build up skills before going into the field of childcare, nannying, or teaching.

We are located off of California Ave SW, four blocks north of the Alaskan Junction and just a few blocks south of West Seattle High School.

Please feel free to contact me with questions! Vicky – hellovichansen@hotmail.com
