maplesyrupParticipantToday I went to my favorite pho place in White Center. I’ve only eaten at 2 of Vietnamese restaurants in the area but I saw 3 others today and I’m pretty sure there are more.
So I’m curious if I’m missing out by sticking with the place I really like. What place, in your opinion, has the best pho in W. Seattle/White Center?
BTW here’s a list of places I’m aware of. I’ve eaten in 3 of them.
Cafe 88
Pho 54
Pho Tai
Pho 99
Pho White Center
Tran Bros.
Pho Aroma

DPMembermaple:
Pho Thu Thuy at 9627 15th St SW is my personal favorite.
It’s not the cleanest place I’ve ever been in, and the decor is pretty drab. However, the pho is consistently good. The stock is just right (not too salty, not too thin) and there’s always plenty of meat, cooked to perfection. Bean sprouts and other condiments are always fresh, like they’d just been delivered from the farm.
It’s better than any of the pho I ever got in ‘Nam, and that’s saying something. (Had better in Cambodia, but it’s not quite the same thing.)
I can’t speak to any of their other dishes, because I’ve never tried them. But the pho is outstanding and the portions are generous. A small beef combo is a meal, and then some.

maplesyrupParticipantYeah I’ve been in Queen’s Deli, JoB. Really liked it. Good food, cheap, and friendly service.
But this thread is about pho! :)
DP I’ll give Thu Thuy a shot. Gotta try Pho Aroma as well.

JiggersMemberYou better not eat too much of that stuff because the salt content is super high. Unless you want gout/or edema in your life, then go for it..

TDeParticipantI like them all, but I like the food at Pho Cyclo on 1st Ave S., across from Sears the best. For atmosphere though, the Saigon Boat Cafe on Alki.
