datamuseParticipantAnyone else hear ’em? I couldn’t quite tell where they were coming from but they sounded close (I’m near the top of HP Way).

mvMemberI heard them, too. Sounded like gunshots. Possibly from somewhere near the new Chief Sealth high school?

MBParticipantI heard it too…from inside the house. The husband was on the porch and he thinks fireworks or shotgun. We’re around 12th and Cloverdale.

mvMemberWe’re 2 blocks North of Chief Sealth, and I heard it sitting inside. Hard to say what type of gun, but it didn’t sound like a shotgun to me. I should know. The Mr. has over a dozen guns, my handgun included.

WSBKeymasterUsually fireworks, 99 times out of 100. I can tell you one thing, anyway: Nobody’s been shot anywhere in West Seattle tonight, at least not according to the med logs.
The president DID just arrive at Boeing Field a little while ago … but I’ve seen a photo of his motorcade downtown so I think all is well on that front.

lazybeardParticipantI’m at Highland Park & Portland and they sounded like firecrackers in 2-3 bursts each time.
