Are there any drop boxes left in West Seattle? Looks like I may have to drive to Burien. I don’t really have enough stuff to justify a pick-up. Thanks.

NW Center takes clothes/shoes so you should be able to drop it off at the truck in The Junction:

The other great thing about the NW Center truck is that they are part of the Threadcycle program. This means that you can hand over any clean textile, regardless of condition. You don’t need to donate only reusable clothing. This saves many, many tons of textiles going to the landfill. Textile production is one of the most toxic and wasteful processes on earth, so recycling helps.

Value Village/Tukwilla pays Northwest Center for for all of the goods donated to their store, regardless of the condition. So all merchandise in their store, all donations that are dropped off by you, NW center gets paid. Then they can fund their services. It’s also a Freecycle location, which means you can drop off old TV’s, computers, etc working or not. It’s a win, win.
