    I heard a couple booms last night. I didn’t look at my clock, but I’m pretty sure it was near 11. Did anyone else hear them? Any idea what they were? (I assume fireworks but wasn’t sure.)

    It was midnight. It was super loud in North Admiral. It woke me up from a deep sleep. For some reason, it’s discussed in the gazillion-comment discussion on the home page about last night’s protest.

    Yeah, someone in that thread mentioned people down at Alki were setting off really big fireworks/explosives, louder than the normal loud of m80s.

    For the last year or so there have been some REALLY loud fireworks in the area of Alki Homestead. I then hear a faint boom. It’s like they set off a blast then a friend signals back from somewhere with a blast. I’ll hear them once, sometimes 2 or 3 times. Don’t know the times but it’s in the middle of the night.

    It rumbled afterwards for a good 60 seconds. Slowly fading away.
