Junction Safeway Parking Fine

I was ticketed for parking “overtime” in the Safeway parking lot this weekend, the time stamp on the ticket was for a few minutes before the 2 hour mark.

Has anyone else experienced this? I didn’t see any signs warning that you would be ticketed for parking more than 2 hours, and I was doing my errands at multiple businesses in that compound.

If you think you were ticketed before you’d been there 2 hours you should challenge it.

The ticketing policy, though, has been in place for years. We got a ticket four or five summers ago when we parked there to start our Summer Fest Info Booth day and got distracted from going back a short time later to get the car moved to someplace it could stay for the duration. – TR

Yeah, you can submit a dispute on the ticket with the pertinent info. They’ll most likely waive it if it’s a first time incident. Good luck!
