beachdrivegirlParticipantSeriously people seem to be so pissy these days! Seven rants (no raves) on the main forum page! Threads where people assume everything that is said is in hatred and about them…. and lets not even go to the p/m’s. Come on people, west seattle is fantastic lets snap out of it. I’ll even start with a few things I love in West Seattle: La Rustica, Pioneer Coffeee, Jak’s, Ama Ama for brunch…

r26MemberI agree. Everyone is a lot more “pissy” (that’s the perfect word).
I love the beach. I love the flowers out now. I love that wading pools will open soon. I love the water taxi.

CaitParticipantI think it’s this long stretch between New Years and Memorial Day where most of us don’t have any days off. That and the weather. Bring on the holiday-heavy part of the year and some SUNSHINE! GOOD LORD!

WesCAddleMemberLa Rustica is too small, Pioneer Coffee has bitter beans, JaK’s doesn’t take reservations, and, ummm, Ama Ama has a strange name!!!
PS- The beach is too sandy, the flowers attract bees, the wading pools are too shallow, and the water taxi is too slow!!!

ToddinWestwoodMemberahhh come on, are you ranting about the ranting? :)

beachdrivegirlParticipantOh Todd you caught me! I didnt think there were enough rants already… :)

AnonymousInactivePeople are forgetting the rules about rants. With the great power that is ranting comes great responsibility. You’re required to complete an IEEE 829 TPS report outlining what happened, how you confronted the issue, what steps you took to advise the proprietor of the issue, and what action said proprietor took to resolve the issue.
However, if a rave is your poison, there are no rules! You can rave as loud as you want!
I agree with Beachgrrl 100%. More ravin’, less rantin’!

WS4funMemberYou are right r26….”pissy” IS the perfect word! LOL
I’m thankful my kids are potty trained and we can enjoy the great hikes here in the Northwest and not worry about anyone having an accident! Is it okay to pee in the woods? :)

JoBParticipantif more people took took umbrage in the privacy of PMs than in the public pages of the forum, we would all have a lot less tendency to take things personally here…
it’s kind of like good manners… we are all a lot less likely to behave rudely in social situations where we are expected to behave well.
Isn’t it amazing what a difference a cloth napkin can make in table manners ;->
