I was wondering if anyone knows of a good inexpensive dentist? We just moved here and are without insurance and just my luck my tooth broke!!!! I need to find a place that will see me without insurance that is not too expensive. Thank you all for your help.

you might try the emergency dental clinic at highpoint. Normally they only see under 18, but they will see adults for emergency, and would probably be cheaper than other dentists around the area. You may have to go sit and wait, but thy are actually pretty good about accommodating..

The University of WA has an emergency dental clinic. http://www.dental.washington.edu/patientcare/emergency_care.php We have used them and the fees are very low. They are a fee for service clinic and you have to pay when you leave.

and…you have to call a day ahead of time at the UW…call at 8:30am on a Monday for a 9am or 1pm appointment on Tuesday. They don’t do same day appointments, at least that’s what I was told. And…I went with a broken tooth, but was in no pain. They said that wasn’t an emergency..so I didn’t get treated.(so tell ’em it hurts). I was given a recommendation to their clinic run by residents (I take a cancer drug, so the student clinic can’t see me), but the resident clinic turned me down. I have Medicaid, which they take, and I need ongoing dental work, but can’t find a dentist within 15 miles of me that will take it. Even the public health clinics said that they are full up with medicaid patients…frustrating as hell. If you can get into the emergency clinic, they do exceptional work. I just had a negative experience. I hope this works out for you. Good luck.
