bsmommaParticipantSoooo, my tooth realy hurts and my current dental office just ticked me off! I have been to Dunham & Bond. I have issues with both places. Can anyone reccomend any other good quality dentists in the Seattle area? Preferably in West Seattle?

GoGoParticipantDr. Chellis at Smile Secrets is great as is everyone in her office (all women). I hate going to the dentist and they always make me feel at ease.

cathywMemberIf you look in the archives of WSB I think there are at least two threads that have extensive and helpful discussions on this subject. My impression is that there are a number of good West Seattle dentists, including Dr. Chellis above. Our family has settled on Dr. George Naden whose office is in the Admiral area.Good luck.

cathywMemberType in “Dentist” in the “Search with Google” box in the upper right hand corner of the WSB Forum page. (It’s also best to click the “Only search West Seattle Blog” box underneath it.) And Voila! There are the Google links with the old WSB dentist discussions.

lil moMemberMy kids are third generation to see Dr. Hogan at the West Seattle Dental Center. He’s been great with my kids and has always kept my teeth happy!

FoxyDiamondMemberoooooh Dr. Raleigh & staff are GREAT! I have very sensitive teeth & gums, I am a clencher, have TMJ & I am a BIG dentist WUS!! Diane & Caroline are lovely, gentle, & sweet hygenists! Diane also has a need for night guards so she is also very gently and sympathtic with my dental pain. Caroline is also a massage therapist who has done incredible things for my TMJ! Not to forget Janet at the front desk who will be like your Mom a n d they have a cool toy basket too!! Seriously I have told several of my friends who are also very happy with Dr. Raleigh. He is in the cutey booty house across the street from the post office!

flowerpetalMemberOn those links to past posts you might read that I heartily recommend Glen Krieger. His office is on California, one block north of the Post Office. Very friendly, professional, highly esteemed in the local community of dentists, intelligent, and humorous too! I am always at ease in his office. He has a second dentist in the office too, Rebecca Bockaw, who is equally skilled.

TheHouseMemberI don’t know what your gripe is with Bond, but Smiles By Bond (Dr. Bond) has been my dentist for the past 5 years and he’s been awesome for me and my kids.

WS PersonParticipantBump! I would like to know if anyone has any positive experiences with Dr. Ron Brun (http://www.smilewestseattle.com/). He is on our insurance and we need a new dentist who is local. The other dentists on the insurance in West Seattle are Kae, Keenan, Savage, Lee, and Bingham. Any recs for these dentists? Thanks!
September 11, 2009 at 4:46 pm #664979
KimberleyParticipantDr. Kae and his assistants are wonderful! I started going there on a recommendation from my boyfriend’s brother-in-law and soon got my boyfriend, his sister (married to said brother-in-law) and a few coworkers to visit him as well (and then found out that many other coworkers also visit him). He’s a perfectionist, which I can appreciate since my last dentist was my great uncle. His hygenists are also great with kids.

erin215MemberDr. Velling is really good, and they won’t try to sell you on unnecessary treatments. (206) 767-3480

WS PersonParticipantTo reiterate, I only want recs for the dentists on our insurance: Brun, Kae, Keenan, Savage, Lee, and Bingham. thanks!

kiridaParticipantDr. Brun is great! I have huge dentist phobias, and he is incredibly kind, patient and funny. He also has a terrific staff. I have been very happy there and highly recommend him.
