bigjackMemberHi –
Looking for a place to stay for a couple of days in July/August.
I remember a sketchy “weekly rate” place on 35th but I dont think there are any other hotels in W Seattle, unless one has opened in the last 3 years or so.
Any B&Bs that are nice? Dont want to stay in SEA-TAC area, I want to stay downtown.
Thanks

EllenMemberUrban Oasis in West Seattle is a brand new 1 bedroom fully furnished nightly rental…it is great!! We just created it…it is 10 minutes to downtown. Our nightly rate is $110.00 per night…it comes with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, Queen bed in the bedroom and a Queen size pullout couch in the LR. The LR is fabulous–two seating areas with a fireplace and daylight windows. There is tons of light for a basement apartment. You also have your own patio area and own washer and dryer. We will soon have pics but we are literally just completing it! It will be available June 1st.
There is a two night minimum.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!
Ellen

LenaParticipantI got to see the almost complete Urban Oasis about a month ago. Looks like it will be a great space, especially with Ellen’s decorating touches! We already have friends who are coming up to stay there at the end of June.

IrukandjiParticipantMy mom stayed at the VRBO listing that L25 posted. Clean, comfy, and run by kind & thoughtful people. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a not-a-hotel kind of place.

It was a great location, great place, and so easy to book.
I know that this will be used quite frequently by our household for guests.

WednesdayMemberHere’s another B&B in West Seattle called Villa Heidelberg located at the corner of 45th & Erskine. Never been there but I know it’s been there for many years now.

baldnepuMemberI believe the original poster was looking for a place downtown. There is another Urban Oasis there, with 5 different units in different condos. I’ve had guest stay in two of them and you can’t beat them! For the price, and location, walking distance of the market, space needle, etc, The Urban Oasis is great! One of the units can be seen at http://www.vrbo.com/165941, this one has a great view of the sound and West Seattle, and has a pool and hot tub!
