BreezyParticipantWe are currently living in a very nice 2 bed/3 bath + 1 room we use as a guest/office on Graham St. In order to purchase a home and get out from under our lease, we are working with our real estate agent to find a tenant. That being said, our landlord has been great and quick to respond to the 1 or two items we’ve needed (been here since Jan.) and he’s local. We are hoping to be out by July 1st. If you think you may be interested, leave your name/contact information in the reply. The rent is $2400 per month and being an energy efficient home, the utilities have been small. 2 car garage, too!

WorldCitizenParticipantGraham covers a few very different neighborhoods. Do you have a cross street?

BreezyParticipantI don’t want to post my address for all, but it is in the High Point Neighborhood (HOA dues are paid by owner) on SW Graham and is a detached home near the P-patch with the Bee Garden. Big front porch – there is one block of similar homes. I’ve got great neighbors on both sides of the block! And did I mention pets are allowed?

trickycooljParticipantWowee… I am an owner in high point and that rent is nearly double my mortgage and HOA. No wonder you want out of that lease. Has the property owner considered selling? My Zestimate is up 17% since I bought last year.

BreezyParticipanttrickycoolj, according to public records the home was purchased in 2007 and I believe that makes it new when purchased and the market was high at that time, certainly higher than last year. I would hesitate to use Zestimate for any serious type of valuation, but with the growing market it might be a good move to sell – but only if you have to. Not my call; I’m simply trying to find a set of good folks to take our place.

BreezyParticipantHelp me out here, guys. The rent is what it is, straight from the landlord. For a family like ours that just moved to the area with 2 dogs and a cat, in need of a safe, clean, quiet and pleasant neighborhood, with a yard and garage for our cars, it was the best. We must have looked at nearly 30 rentals, most of which we wouldn’t have let our animals live in let alone us. I will be removing this post after today as it is apparent all it is attracting is non-productive responses :(
