cjboffoliParticipantOn Saturday night (12/27) around 11:30pm a white Ford Explorer backed into my neighbor’s red Mini parked on 41st. The impact damaged the car’s front end. Of course they just tore off into the night. The neighbor witnessed the whole thing but the SUV booked out of there before my friend could run down to the street. We suspect that the driver of the Explorer was a guest who was visiting someone on our street. If anyone hears anything about this or spots a white Explorer around West Seattle with a smear of red paint on the rear bumper, I’d be grateful if you’d drop me a line.

IrukandjiParticipantWe’ll keep an eye out for the miscreant. Very frustrating.

JoBParticipantSomeone on our street (31st just north of thistle) side swiped a couple of cars… without leaving so much as a note.
I am not positive.. but i think it must have happened some time yesterday.
i am sure my neighbors would appreciate anyone hearing anything anyone saw or heard.

rockergirlMemberProbably because if the snow and ice build up on the side roads – I know I avoided streets with cars parked on both sides so as not to slide into or sideswipe someone – no excuse for not leaving a note or being responsible for the damage you cause though.

cjboffoliParticipantrockergirl: This was last night. The snow and ice are gone. I think the only ice responsible for this one was probably the cubes that were sloshing around in their drink before they got behind the wheel and damaged my friend’s car.
