C’mon FreeRange – you can do better than that. . . . .Don’t fall for it folks, the link takes you to a petition to send HRC to Libya. I fell for it. I guess there is some level of humor rather than just the typical hatred that’s been posted (from both sides).

Hillary will probably end up making license plates for America.

    Captain Dave..
she has to have actually committed a crime to end up in jail
it’s not enough for someone to say she is suspect..
though apparently that is enough to put you on the no fly list in America
you still need to be convicted to go to jail

JoB: Mishandling classified information and lying under oath at a congressional herring is a crime unless you redefine the word “crime” to not include breaking criminal laws.

Since Hillary will no longer have control over the AG, then they will be free to investigate and prosecute on whatever charges. I have a lot more faith in the law without the Clinton mob having top-down influence.

even Cowen had to say there was no there there… and it’s perfectly clear by his announcement of reopening an investigation before he had even secured the warrants to do so that he really really wanted to.

keep inventing all of the scenarios you want to… they don’t change the facts.

I have to say.. hate is a very ugly thing and no matter how self righteously you think you wear it.. it doesn’t look good on you.

JoB: Advocating for law and order is not hate speech. I want my government to do it’s job to diminish crime so that the people I love have less chance of being harmed. Hillary’s corrupt handling of the State Department unleashed terror in Europe. My brother’s family was right next door to Paris attacks last year–they frequented the restaurant and theater almost on a weekly basis. In 2001, I walked through the smoldering wreckage of ground zero in Manhattan a few weeks after the attack where my wife’s family attended countless funerals. I don’t hate anyone, but I know first-hand what hate does. It is not a difficult debate to prove that leftists embody hate.

“It is not a difficult debate to prove that leftists embody hate.”

All you have to do is cite Ted Kaczynski’s Manifesto which, come to think of it, has a striking sameness with many of your comments about what and how liberals think.

Ok. I think I am done with these election threads. It is too bad so many of my neighbors are so filled with rage that they cannot think rationally. It is not logical to characterize every Trump supporter as a “racist hate-mongering white”. There is apparently no common ground for civil discussion. Perhaps the socialist revolution will succeed and you lefties can see the presidential election overturned and your “hated” opposition crushed into the ground. But somehow, I doubt that is going to happen for you. However, maybe you guys can make Seattle like the lovely city of Detroit someday.

I suppose the manifesto text is out there someplace, but I’d bet very few have read it. Equating Dave’s remarks with the Unabomber almost calls for Godwin’s Law.

To me the line “prove that leftists embody hate” is overstated. But there’s a kernel or two of truth. At least it’s easy to show examples of what would often be called hate speech, coming from the supposedly inclusive and tolerant left.

you knock the left, but don’t knock the right in this election, who are adored by the likes of the KKK, the embodiment of hate…I do not take you seriously…

Dave…you call anyone who is to the left of you mentally unstable…civil discussion? Are you f*&king serious? If people don’t align with your thinking you name call, anti-american, emotional, deranged..you’re not civil…you’re a bully and an ass…bet you come back and post more of your stupidity before long…you can’t stand to not be right…yeah…a pun, imagine that :(

Because I didn’t enumerate all possible points of view? Your view’s been getting plenty of exposure.

KKK history is complex, including being a de facto litmus test of one’s understanding of the First Amendment. They do get to say their piece. So do (insert long list of unpopular sorts).

That little civics lesson might be the best thing about them. That, and being something like 1/1000 the strength they used to be.

don’t underestimate the KKK…there are plenty out there…they can keep their identity secret…I assume because they know that they might not be accepted as regular people if it was a public thing..hence, the dunce caps.

The word “hate” is bandied about a lot…..as the good captain said..liberalism embodies hate. And it stops there…no mention exactly what he means by hate. I don’t hate..I severely dislike that word. But…how about the now emboldened people who find calling out blacks now by using the “n” word, and that they should go back to where they came from, or calling out Asians and telling them to go home, although they are US citizens…or people attacking women who are Muslims, a religion I have no problems with, and yanking off their habib’s…or the woman who was told to remove it by a lovely man who said if she didn’t he would set it(and her) on fire. Swasticas painted on telephone poles on Capitol Hill? Is that hate? Or the gay man in Santa Monica attacked by Trump supporters (he was a visitor from Canada)? Disagreeing with Dave is hate? I think we need to be centrists on this and call out what we see and hear…like how JoB was accosted in her car for..what? being a senior citizen sitting in her car? Is this the America that anyone thinks OK? Instead of addressing and calling out your fellow posters here…why not instead talk about those things? It’s easier to make snide remarks here in anonymity, I suppose. And, truly, I have no idea what you or Dave feel about the other stuff, because you don’t mention it. Donald Trump’s campaign is what emboldened these people. It’s OK to now bring it out into the open. He encouraged a bit of violence during his rallies. And if it’s OK with the President elect, it’s OK for them? Do you even understand that those are the disgusting things that people who are (mostly) peacefully protesting are marching for/against?? And that the next 4 years will only get worse? Trump is aligning himself with haters…Mike Pence, Ken Blackwell(gayness can be reprogrammed), Rudy Giuliani(senile), and others. His kids are on his transition team while running his business…conflict of interests much? What is hate and hate speech? Disagreeing on here? I disagree…and I don’t know you, so I can’t hate you…we have every right to disagree with each other…we do not have the right to denigrate each other. I suppose I should apologize to dave for calling him a bully and an ass…wasn’t denigrating, though. Just telling the truth as I see it.

    Captain dave..
if you actually advocated for law and order for all that would be different.. wouldn’t it.
you seem to think some people are more deserving of the protection of the law than others..
or at least. that’s what you have stated repeatedly when challenged on this forum..
