A KOMO cameraman was filming the Highland Park mail carrier late this morning in front of my house. He told me a conviction was made this AM for 40 counts of mail fraud – all of them in Highland Park.
Are you saying that they were filming the carrier who was convicted, or just another carrier? If it’s the same one convicted, I’d like to know a) why he/she is still on the job and b) why he/she is not in jail…?
There was a sentencing today in a federal case involving mail and ID theft. It’s on the main page. Has nothing to do with a mail carrier. Nor was it 40 counts in Highland Park. The Crime Watch report from last year that was apparently part of this case was in Highland Park. I assume the photographer was shooting the mail carrier as what we used to call B-roll … the usually generic video slapped over the reporter’s words … anyway:
