wspcceeememberMemberThe West Seattle Parents and Concerned Citizens for Equity and Excellence in Education (WSPCCEEE) is a registered nonprofit organization. Our EIN# 26-1703215 is registered with the IRS.
Our Mission is to challenge the Seattle School District’s decision to change the schedule at West Seattle High School from a 4 period day to a 6 period day. As parents and concerned citizens we feel strongly that this decision will destroy the excellent program at West Seattle High School. It will create inequitable education for the students.
We plan to challenge the district through legal means. To accomplish our mission we will hire a lawyer. To pay the legal fees we will ask the community to contribute to our organization. All monies will be used for legal fees for the challenge and materials needed to promote and educate the parents of the students at West Seattle High School and the community.
The organization will continue until there is a decision agreed upon by the parents, students and the community of West Seattle. Any funds remaining at the completion of the legal challenge will be donated to one of the scholarship funds at West Seattle High School for the purpose of sending a deserving student to college.
Anyone who is a parent of a West Seattle Students or a community member that supports our mission is welcome to attend our meetings. We meet every other Monday. The location changes so please contact us by email:gofor4wshs@gmail.com if you are interested in attending.
The future is our children. What better way to spend your money and time but in protecting our children.
