We are looking for a full-time nanny for an established neighborhood nanny share with our 6 1/2 month and 11 1/2 month old sons.
Hours: We are looking for someone who can work 40 hours per week. and is generally available between 7:30/8:00 a.m. and 4:30/5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Most weeks, it will be four days with both boys, and one day with one child. For the remainder of the year, we are looking at the hours of 7:45-4:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday with both children and 7:45-11:45 a.m. on Fridays with one child. Occasionally, there will be opportunities for additional evening and weekend hours.
Location: West Seattle-North Admiral
Compensation: $21-25 per hour for both children, and $18-20 for one child, DOE
Requirements/Requests:
We are looking for someone committed to planning activities to support and enrich the social, emotional and language development of the boys, who loves infants/toddlers and is excited to plan activities, park excursions and other play.
CPR certified, at least 3 years’ experience working with multiple infants/toddlers, reliable transportation and an interest in being in West Seattle with long-term bridge closure, able to provide at least two references, up-to-date vaccines, and comfortable with pets (a cat and a dog)
Both sets of parents are currently working at home, and both families have been following best practices for social distancing. We are hoping to find someone who is also being thoughtful about reducing risk and exposure due to high risk family members.
