will be keeping our pooch inside, remember to make sure that gates/fenced areas are secured. Have a fun & safe 4th of July WSB. This is going to be the night to try out the “thunder jacket” to see if it lives up to it’s advertised calming affect on the pooch

Picked up my Independence Day doggie drugs yesterday. The Thundershirt did nothing for my dog, but seems to work on others. Too bad it’s going to be HOT.

How ridiculous is it that thousands (I think that’s a safe ballpark) of law-abiding people and pets have to hide in bunkers for days or weeks because this illegal activity gets a free pass?

I use that cat pheromone spray in my house. The cats still startle, but calm down faster.

Katherine, thanks for the reminder! Feliway spray might help the cat; vet said drugs for cats are too risky.

Collars fall off. Just keep the cats and dogs inside is the safest thing to do period, or leave town like Job.(I don’t have that luxury:))

Microchips are the 2nd best thing. (Unless you live in Burien)

We asked the Mariners about the fireworks earlier in the week and they weren’t even supposed to be visible from outside the stadium, so I’m hoping it wasn’t a problem for anyone over here, pet or human.

We never set out to be a lost/found pet clearinghouse but it just happened over the years and some days there are several reunions through the notices here – sometimes we get the “lost dog” and “found dog” e-mail simultaneously and connect them without even posting on the site.
