I don’t know which WS jewelry store helped the woman in the news (Yana Ristick) buy the $8,200 Rolex watch but I’m sure it is in the police report or charging papers, but a big rant to whichever one it was for looking the other way at the obvious situation…. Come on folks, a 91 year old man who can’t even remember his address (I wonder if the salesman helped him write the check) with a 31 year old woman buying her a Rolex? I would bet something didn’t seem right here…
Kudos to Nordstrom, Barney’s, Cartier and the Mercedes dealership who turned him down. Good job at helping protect someone’s loved one.
I have known of too many of these cases in my financial services career and it breaks my heart to see someone who has worked their entire lives get taken to the cleaners by this group of people who shall remain nameless for the sake of political correctness.
