DOG WRANGLER/SHUTTLE DRIVER

[WS Lifer]

A locally owned premier dog daycare/boarding/training facility is seeking an outgoing, responsible shuttle driver/daycare attendant preferably living in the West Seattle vicinity. The location offers 6.7 acres of kennel-free roaming areas for our guests which provide a challenging, energetic and fun work environment for the right employee.

Dog wrangler requirements:

• Clean driving record w/valid Washington State driver’s license (experience driving a small bus preferred)

• Ability to interact personably with clients a must

• Experience in supervising dogs in large playgroups

• Previous dog handling experience with a good understanding of dog behavior and the ability to interpret body language

Criteria/Job expectations:

• Ability to positively interact with all sizes and types of dogs

• Ability to monitor dogs on a continual basis

• Must be able to quickly intervene and “think on your feet” to keep the dogs safe and happy

• Must be able to address any and all dog behavioral issues in a timely, proactive manner

• Ability to remain calm to interrupt play before a situation is able to escalate

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to secure credit/debit card payments

• The ability to stand for long periods in all types of weather

Are you opening a new location in the West Seattle vicinity? I only see an Issaquah location on your website, and this is from the WSB rules on posting job openings:
