Tango Card – Role: Finance & HR Director

Tango Card is the first company to provide rewards as a service, RaaSâ„¢, to enterprise customers. Just as Salesforce moved CRM to the cloud, Tango Card is moving loyalty and rewards to the cloud – a $50 Billion dollar industry in the US alone. Tango Card has created the ideal rewards and loyalty platform for the modern, mobile, social enterprise. We’re a 20 person team based in Seattle, we launched in late 2010, and have over 80 customers. We have filed 3 patents, have a fantastic pipeline, and are growing quickly. We recently completed a significant Series B and our stellar investor group now consists of Allegro Venture Partners, Floodgate Capital, Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors, SWaN and Legend partners, and WTI. We are looking to add a few absolutely critical people to our team.

Since this doesn’t say – yes, this company IS based in West Seattle. (Working on a story about their growth; they mentioned job openings and we pointed them here.) – TR

(They do need to add their contact info, though!)

I think they are (or were) somewhere near the Luna Park area (they used to come up on various location-based social media websites). I wonder why their funding is coming out of (mostly) Palo Alto, and why they haven’t tapped any of the Seattle-area VCs.

David Leeds here – Founder & CEO of Tango Card. Sorry for leaving out valuable information. Yes, we are here in West Seattle. On 40th Ave SW, 2 blocks from the junction. Please contact me directly at david @ tangocard . com. Also, most of our funding did come from Bay Area firms. These firms got very (very) excited about what we are doing and moved quickly to invest in the company. We would have loved to have some participation from local firms, but things ultimatley did not work out that way. Also – thanks for the posts, the questions, and the tip to actually include my contact!
