There is a lot of what people mistake for comfrey in West Seattle, that is actually Chinese forget-me-not. They are difficult to tell apart until they bloom. While both have blue flowers, the blooms are different in shape. A former neighbor and Master Gardener let it grow all over her yard, declaring it was comfrey. It wasn’t, and now I can’t get it out of mine. Chinese forget-me-not is extremely invasive and has a deep taproot that makes it extremely difficult to eradicate. Just a caution.
