Our school-age care programs provide a fun, creative, safe, and welcoming environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
This is a part-time position located at Montlake Community Center with work hours of 3:00-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our Counselors:
•
Organize and lead programs and activities such as: arts and crafts, organized games, cultural activities, drama, music, story hour, sports, field trips and other special projects and events.
•
Work with other staff to ensure the care and safety of participants at all times.
•
Must be willing to complete training for certification in First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers Permit, HIV/AIDS blood-borne pathogens education.
Requirements:
•
Eighteen years of age or older
•
High School diploma or equivalent
•
Experience working with 5 to 12 year olds
•
Clear TB test and background check.
