JanSParticipantoff the top of my head…Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes in the old Fauntleroy Schoolhouse…Husky’s Deli…Herban Feast (West Seattle guy, now located in Sodo). Also, something different to consider: my daughter had a mobile food truck cater her outdoor wedding last summer. Maximus/Minimus pigmobile pulled right up to the curb, we all got in line and had fabulous food – and it was cheaper by far than any other caterer, for 100 people. Other food trucks cater, too..

changingtimesMemberCheck us out Three Queens Catering, at the moment our website is under construction, but we do have a Facebook. We also do pulled pork, pulled chicken,Slaw, and Mac and cheese. You might remember us from Seafair last year and we have already been included in the Taste of West Seattle and the Univeristy street fair next month to start out our summer season :))) we also have a new fancy fry menu this year that I’m sure will be a hit. For catering events we do an aray of what our customers are looking for outside of our regular fair menus and would be happy to go over options.
Please contact us at threequeenscatering@yahoo.com
We are based in West Seattle, three best friends from high school who are all moms with huge families. One day we came together and decided since we cook for large crowds everynight of everyday we might as well take our show on the road!! :))

changingtimesMemberThank you! We are very excited for this summer! We feel very privileged to be a part of the taste of west Seattle to benefit the seattle helpline and still waiting for approval from the west Seattle summer festival although we did get into the taste of Edmonds. We are hoping to make enough money this summer
to get a truck and be a regular in the west Seattle food truck pods :)))

kootchmanMemberHooper I have a 600 gal smoker… can hold 1200 lbs of meat… or a rotissere that can hold a 140 lb whole hog, couple of lambs, or variations thereof. I have loaned them and rented them… ya can get a 100 lb pig for about $3 per pound and feed 150 …. both are wood or charcoal fired… I have done lamb for weddings and halil … and loaned them out to customers for corporate shindigs… You can do a full pulled pork thing for less than $3 per plate. Safeway bakery will do the corn bread, and Costco for the coleslaw. I have a list of butchers who raise organic beef, hog, lamb, and goat… and sell direct. The barrel smoker .. low and slow.. figure 20 hours…. rotissere… figure a 75 lb hog takes 4-6 hours… mostly ya just stand around drinking beer… and watching it go round and round.
here’s the rotissere in action .. simple. I use a propane weed torch to ge the coals started….
